We are very concerned about the war against Ukraine. We are shocked by the reports of those affected and the images from the media.
As a first expression of our solidarity, we have flagged our social media profiles in the national colors of Ukraine. Now we would also like to participate in the support of those affected. Therefore, we have donated to the following aid projects:
Aktionsbündnis gegen Homophobie e.V. has launched the fundraising project “Queer Emergency Aid Ukraine”. Its goal is to support the care and evacuation of queer people in the war zone. The donation of 550€ was partly collected by our guests of the Youngsters Night, the Puppy Party and the Furry Stammtisch. It will be used for a specific purpose.
In a support center for queer Ukrainians in Warsaw, those affected can take advantage of a wide range of support services. In addition to legal advice, for example, psychological and medical help is offered. The project was pre-financed and initiated by the association Lambda Warsaw, now they are looking for supporters. We have contributed with 300€.
